So basically this guy was fortunate enough to get cast in an episode of Community, and now he’s trying to take the character (that he does not own), raise (exploit?) $20,000 from fans of the show, and then make (unapproved?) webisodes…..based on intellectual property that he didn’t create, which itself was a parody of another long existing, well known intellectual property.   

But don’t worry, he’s not making any money off of this…he’s just going to use it to buy $20,000 in cameras, lights, sound, lenses, computers and other production gear.  Because we all know that stuff is useless after one shoot.

Does anyone else see something very wrong with this?  

(I have no idea, but if NBC, or Dan have signed off on this then I take it all back and wish this guy luck.)

I’m going to one-up this guy and start a Kickstarter to make Community.

NBC/Community can easily fire this dufus and regenerate another Inspector Spacetime.
